We had the chance once again to interview the worldwide top celebrity Sean Paul, one of the most famous singers out of Jamaica. He released his album “Live n Livin” last March 2021 produced by his own label Dutty Rock Productions. This album achieved an excellent overall response all over the world and was especially appreciated by reggae and dancehall lovers. The epic album has 16 tracks featuring many Jamaican veteran artists as well as those from the new school: Buju Banton, Bugle, Ward 21, Sotto Bless, Busy Signal, Mutabaruka, Stonebwoy, Masicka, Govana, Intence, and many more.
We have reviewed together some of the best tracks on the record such as “Crazy” with the legend Buju Banton, “Schedule” with Damian “Jr Gong” Marley and Chi Ching Ching, “Guns of Navarone” Remix with Mutabaruka, Jesse Royal and Stonebwoy & “Everest “feat. Masicka and Skillibeng.
International recording artist Sean Paul put all these names together spontaneously, also to show that unity in dancehall music can be achieved.
“I wanted this album to be all about unity in the dancehall community. Unity includes not only the people who are the hottest right now, but also those from a different era. Fighting each other is a bad thing we have developed in our music genre and it needs to change. I’m trying to be the change. This is the kind of leadership I want to show. “– said Sean Paul.
